Understanding Mental Health

Being a teen can feel overwhelming. Between school, friendships, family expectations, and figuring out who you are, it’s completely normal to feel stressed or confused sometimes. But when these feelings become too heavy, it’s important to know that help exists and that what you’re experiencing is real, valid, and shared by many others.

Mental health affects everything like how you think, how you feel, how you act, and how you connect with others. Just like physical health, it changes over time. Some days are easy, others aren’t. What matters most is recognizing when you need support and knowing that reaching out is a sign of strength, not weakness.
